EMILIARIUM: ELECTRIC CHARGING STATIONS

Since electric cars are to play a central role in achieving the ambitious goal of climate neutrality by 2050 and, according to a resolution passed by the EU Parliament in February 2023, only cars that emit no CO2 while driving are to be sold from 2035, the charging infrastructure in Germany needs to be expanded. As is well known, the traffic light government's plan is to have 1 million charging points by 2030. Using the usual charging points would massively change the appearance of our cities. For the eMiliarium stone charging pole, on the other hand, the regional granite used is a material that is not only particularly sustainable, but is already present in our cities. The stone charging columns therefore fit into their surroundings as if they had always been there - and yet at the same time they are completely new.
